Hamish Reid
Hamish Reid is an Oakland- (California) based art and commercial photographer working in both conventional and digital media. This site introduces some of his non-commercial images, with subjects ranging from "people" work (portraits, PR, workplace, etc.) through urban and desert landscapes, to lightscapes and architecture.
Hamish works mostly in 35mm (digital) and medium and large format (both digital and conventional), for both print (digital and conventional) and web media. He also works in digital video (DV) producing short documentaries and video portraits.
Hamish can custom print most digital images shown here on demand; these are usually available as high-quality inkjet prints, Iris prints, or in other media by request. Conventional media images are usually printed in small batch runs and can be ordered directly from him. Images intended for gallery display or limited circulation are only produced in limited, numbered runs.
